Hey, this is Shikhar!
I want to help you with your marketing.
What I Do? Who I Help?
Hi, I am Shikhar. I am a Marketer. I work closely with Founders of D2C Brands and help them grow their brand using my marketing skills. I build a complete marketing ecosystem for them. Starting from organic content to paid marketing, from influencer collabs to customer retention, I help them fix every aspect that might bottleneck their growth.
I don’t focus on quick growth hacks or tricking the algorithm. I believe in systems. I focus on building long-term growth engines that attract the right audience, establish authority, and create trust at scale. My work sits at the intersection of marketing strategy, content creation, search optimization, and buyer psychology – helping businesses understand why customers buy, what influences decision-making, and how to communicate their value effectively across platforms.
Today, I run a D2C Growth Agency known as Lyfix Marketing where I have a team that assists me in achieving my goal.
How I Help? My Frameworks
Every person thinks that hiding knowledge from other will make them unique. But I don’t think so. I don’t believe in hiding something. I think that everyone has right to have right information and to utilize it to grow. The knowledge from books and great coaches and marketers has helped me reach where I am today. And I am sure it will take me farther to where I want to be.
I have accumulated plenty of marketing skills so far. And I and still learning. And by using those skills and knowledge, I help founders and brands in these two ways:
- I create FREE online content in the form of short form and long form video content, blog posts, newsletters and frameworks that I call FREEBIES. D2C Founders and Brands can utilize that content and fix their marketing.
- Me and my team work closely with brands and strategize, execute and implement on their behalf so that they can focus on their product and customer relationship building that they can only do.
- I work as a Marketing Consultant for the D2C brands where I act as the brain of marketing while the founders handle the execution.
Business Stratgies
The strategies that don’t only look good on paper but actually work in real life.
Marketing
Making campaigns and building Brands that actually encourage people to buy.
Human Psychology
Understanding the fundamentals of what people buy, why they buy, when they can buy and how they buy.
VALUES
What I Believe and Live By
Since the beginning, I always strived to do what may bring me the results in the longer term. I have a long term vision. This is why I focus on Long Term Investment instead of Short Term Capital Gains.
This is why I never invest in short lasting assets. And that includes the partners I work with in my agency. I never accept the proposal if it seems to break in a month or two.
If it has the probability to break in a month, I am not going to enter into that collaboration.
Because whenever I start working with any founder, I work as a Business Partner, not as a vendor or freelancer. My philosophy is simple – “You Win, I Win. You Lose, I Lose.” And I hate losing.
Below is the 3-C formula I use to choose my clients to work with. If any two of the three Cs don’t meet, I don’t work with that Founder.
Cash
If the founder acts to keep the cashflow incoming, this box is checked.
Creativity
If the founder gives me freedom to use my creativity into the execution, this box is checked.
Credibility
If working with the founder gives me credibility, this box is checked.
PROMISE
What I Would Do & What I Won't
There are a few promises that I would stand by. These are not just the notes good to have, but will define how I work.
- I will act as a business partner, not as a vendor.
- I will focus on systems that scale, not one-off campaigns.
- I will focus on increasing the metrics that matter, not the ones that just seem good on paper.
- I will make strategy decisions based on data, not assumptions, trends or emotions..
- I will prioritize long-term brand equity over short-term content output.
PURPOSE & VISION
Why I Started, Where I Head
I started as a creative designer editing videos and creating graphics. While working in a D2C Brand I realized that most founders remain stuck because they divert their focus from building a product market fit to micromanaging multiple marketing interns or freelancers.
This is why I started Lyfix Marketing – to build a complete marketing ecosystem for the Founders so that they get everything under one roof and they don’t have to manage multiple people.
My vision is to build the biggest D2C Growth Agency, that doesn’t work with different industries to get cashflow for survival but to build one that only specializes in D2C space.
Know My Story 📖
The Origin Story: How Lyfix Marketing Came to Life
The Path That Was "Supposed" To Happen
Every science student with a 95% board score in India hears the same script: IIT, BTech, a “settled” tech career. That was the expectation written for me too.
But fate had other plans.
The First Plot Twist: A 3 Lakh Bet on VFX
Instead of prepping for engineering entrance exams, I enrolled in a 2-year VFX diploma at MAAC — one of India’s most recognized animation academies. The course cost ₹3 lakhs. Not “drop everything” money, but enough to make people raise eyebrows.
I told myself: this is the foundation of my career.
Turns out, I was only half right.
The Turning Point Nobody Saw Coming
While sitting in animation classes, I stumbled across a YouTube video that changed everything — a guy talking about building a business versus working a job.
That single video planted a seed I didn’t know existed.
I started devouring books on money, business, and entrepreneurship. YouTube became my second classroom. Somewhere in those late-night videos, the entrepreneur in me woke up — and never went back to sleep.
My First Business (And First Failure)
My First Business (And First Failure)
A tuition bureau, started with a friend. We ran it for six months before reality hit hard — I was putting in more hours but seeing zero profit. Within a year, we shut it down.
Lesson learned the hard way: effort without a viable model is just expensive busywork.
Betting on Myself: The Gym Experiment
A year into my entrepreneurial journey, I dipped my toes into the stock market — and walked away with a 10% profit.
Instead of sitting on that money, I took a leap most people my age wouldn’t: I leased a gym at a prime location, already in great condition.
The results? I scaled it to generate ₹2 lakh/month revenue with a 70% monthly profit margin — with zero backing, zero savings cushion, and zero prior big business experience.
For the first time, I was actually making money.
But just when things were looking up — the gym owner gave me an ultimatum: buy the gym outright, or he’d shut it down and move states.
I didn’t have the capital. So I let it go.
Did this failure stop me? Not even close.
The Birth of Lyfix Marketing
With the gym chapter closed, I asked myself a simple question: why not monetize the skills I already spent ₹3 lakhs building?
In February 2025, Lyfix Marketing was born — just me, no team, no funding.
A month later, a batchmate joined, mostly because he “wanted to do something.” We started working with local businesses, learning the market from the ground up.
The ₹3000 Client That Taught Me Everything
What was Lyfix Marketing’s first paycheck?
Our very first client paid us ₹3000 for a month’s work. Not glamorous — but it was real. It pushed us to chase bigger businesses, including local hotels.
We worked with 4-5 local businesses before a hard truth surfaced: we weren’t the right fit for this segment, and we weren’t the right fit for each other.
My partner and I parted ways.
The Pivot: Why D2C Became The Future of Lyfix
Why did Lyfix Marketing shift to D2C brands?
After the split, I had a choice — let Lyfix die, or rebuild it with a model that actually made sense.
I spent the next 6 months going deep into paid ads, performance marketing, branding, and content — working full-time as a marketer for a D2C clothing brand to understand the industry from the inside.
And that’s when it clicked.
The Gap Nobody Was Filling
What makes D2C marketing different — and why is it underserved in India?
D2C founders in India are stuck juggling multiple vendors — one for ads, another for branding, someone else for influencers, and yet another for content. There’s no single agency built specifically for D2C growth.
That’s the gap. That’s the opportunity.
And that’s exactly what Lyfix Marketing is being built around — slowly, steadily, and with intention.
The Story Is Still Being Written
From a ₹3 lakh VFX course to a ₹3000 client, from a failed tuition business to a gym that almost made it big — every detour led here.
This isn’t a “success story.” It’s a “still becoming” story.
And if you’re a D2C founder tired of managing five different vendors for one marketing strategy — maybe our paths were meant to cross too.
